Proudly presented by Boutique Homes, this meticulously renovated property offers a cozy and relaxing atmosphere ideal for visitors of all ages.

 

The cottage boasts a cozy living room, a queen bedroom, and a second room off the main living space with a comfortable pull-out sleeper couch. Linens are provided for your convenience. The fully equipped kitchen, beautifully renovated bathroom suite, and laundry room with a full-size washer / dryer add to the convenience of your getaway. Guests are also welcome to enjoy our complimentary locally sourced coffee during their stay!

 

Modern amenities such as WiFi, heat, and an air conditioning unit in the main bedroom ensure that your stay is comfortable. Outside, guests can unwind in the gazebo, cook up a delicious meal on the grill, and enjoy the tranquility of lake life. Just moments from South Haven, Saugatuck and Douglas, this location provides the ideal escape!

 

Guests will have access to the entire cabin during their stay.

- The beach is approximately a 7 minute walk away. There are several steps to gain access to beach level which may be harder for older (or very young) guests to navigate. Please exercise caution as this is not a level walk.

 

- This property is in a semi-rural location and guests should be mindful of poison ivy in surrounding brush.

 

- Please ensure all furry guests are up to date on tick medication as these critters can lurk in long grass.

 

- The entire home is on one level.

We had a great stay at Phil’s place in Fennville. The area was peaceful and a quick walk to a private beach. The beach was beautiful! There is a large set of steps that take you down to the beach which may not be suitable for everyone, so something to keep in mind. We had to carry one of our dogs up and down the steps. However there are many beaches around you could drive to. The cabin was very clean on the inside, one of the cleanest airbnbs we have stayed at for a while! Fennville is a 10 minute drive to Douglas and Saugatuck, both with great restaurants. Would recommend!

My husband and 2 Labrador retrievers stayed for 2 nights and we will be back as the location was absolutely perfect for us. The dogs loved the wooded backyard and the short walk to the private beach ( 3 minutes). Interior of house was spotless and decorated tastefully with a dog theme. Perfect location for state park and sightseeing the cute towns along the coast. Bring a bag to the beach to collect the beautiful rocks. We will stay longer next time!

We had a lovely stay at The Pink Lady—a charming and well-appointed cottage nestled in a quiet spot near the best of Southwest Michigan. The location is ideal, with Saugatuck, South Haven, and Douglas all just a short drive away. The cottage itself is quaint and cozy, with thoughtful touches throughout that made it feel like a true getaway. We especially appreciated the access to the private beach—just a short walk and 79 steps down. While the shoreline is rocky, it was peaceful and beautiful to have so close. For sandy beach days, we loved venturing out to nearby favorites: Oval Beach and Saugatuck Dunes State Park—both stunning and well worth the visit. Overall, The Pink Lady was a perfect home base for a relaxing and scenic escape to Lake Michigan. Would definitely stay again!

It’s hard to put into words how much we loved this cabin—it truly felt like a little latibule in the woods. Phil & Casey made it feel like home, so much so that we extended our stay just to hold onto the peace a little longer. The space was spotless, serene, and so thoughtfully designed, with the kindest, most responsive hosts we’ve ever met. While there is great wifi and TV - we completely unplugged from tech. We read in the sunroom, painted in the gazebo, ate pancakes as deer wandered by, and sat around the fire pit feeling lucky to be there. We woke up every morning with the sun shining through the generous amount of windows as the birds sang. And, the short walk to the private beach was such a treat. The town and nearby Saugatuck were full of warmth and kind people. We wish we were still there. Our stay there healed us. You can feel the love they have poured into every inch - and we’re so grateful it exists. We hope your stay is just as gentle, peaceful, and full of quiet magic.

I spent a peaceful week in March in the Pink Lady. Inside, the house is well-updated and spotless. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked, the living room and sunroom were comfy. Lots of beautiful natural light from all the windows, but the house is private on a wooded lot in a quiet, rural setting. The lake and beach were a short walk down a dirt road, and I don't think we ever walked there or back without seeing several deer. The photos/descriptions are accurate and the hosts were very responsive. Highly recommend!

The Pink Lady by the Lake is a darling property and perfect for a couple plus a little dog. The interior upgrades are very nice, and the wooded lot is shady and private, even though it is on a corner. We had a wonderful stay here! Perfect location between South Haven and Saugatuck which gave us the option to explore both areas easily. The cabin itself was spotless and has been very tastefully remodeled. I think our favorite part of the stay was having access to a Lake Michigan beach just a short walk away! Our two small dogs were also right at home and seemed comfortable during our stay. When we first checked in the cabin was pretty warm but after letting the AC unit run in the bedroom and keeping the fan on/door to the bedroom open the cabin was able to cool down just fine. Our host was very responsive and we really appreciated all the local recommendations we received. Would absolutely recommend a stay at this adorable cabin!!

The Pink Lady is a lovely place to stay. The owner has done a fantastic job remodeling the cottage's interior, while keeping a few things for nostalgia, like the original door knobs. Lots and lots of natural light which I just love. Everything was as pictured and instructions were clear. The wooded yard and screened-in gazebo are a nice atmosphere to relax in. The beach for the neighborhood was a quick walk down the street, and he mentions the details about it having many steps - 91 to be exact. The two other beach options I found close by also have many steps to get down to the beach, but that is typical for smaller beaches on Michigan bluffs. I found this home very clean which is important to me. Overall, it's a keeper for me. So the best question you can ask me is "Would I stay there again?" and that's a big YES. Thank you Phil for taking over this property and breathing new life into the cottage.

You want to stay here! The place is spectacular, adorable, and was completely private. The bathroom was sooooo amazing, and the kitchen was loaded with every cooking utensil under the sun. The walk to the beach is truly five minutes, but the stairs are a nice way to get your heart rate going. It was close to wineries and dead center between South Haven and Sagatuk so there is a ton to explore. I would 100% book this place again and highly recommend it to other travelers.

If you’re looking for a magical woodland retreat, this place is it. The cottage was clean, well designed, and had amazing character. The windows let in such beautiful light in the mornings and evenings, and I loved being able to open the windows to let in fresh air. The window unit AC and ceiling fans did a great job of cooling things off as well. The setting was quiet and peaceful— sitting outside in the evening around the fire or in the screened in gazebo, we could hear an occasional car, but mostly crickets and forest sounds. The walk to the lake was easy, just a straight shot down the street right next to the cottage. The stairs down to the beach are many and steep, but we made it and the kids had a wonderful time looking for fun rocks and playing in the water. There is a hose hooked up outside the house so we were able to spray off before going inside. This would a perfect spot for a small girls trip, a romantic trip, or a writers retreat— but our little family loved it!
