Sleeping arrangements:

 

**Main Level**: This level houses 1 bedroom equipped with a queen bed.

 

**Lower Level**: Here, you will find 2 bedrooms. Both furnished with with queen beds.

 

Guests will have access to the entire property during their stay.

 

Professional property managment on-hand if needed during your stay.

 

- The walk to the private Glenn Shores association beach is approximately 10 minutes away.

 

- Both lower level bedrooms are equipped with air filtration and de-humidifier systems for easy sleeping.

 

- Fans are located in all bedrooms.

 

- Stairs to the lower bedroom are steeper than average so young children and guests with limited ability should exercise additional caution.

 

- There are two high-power AC units on the main level of the home. The lower level bedrooms are equipped with fans and are consistently cool throughout the year.

 

- Additional heaters are provided in lower-level bedrooms to ensure they are snug, even in the chilliest winter months.

 

- For safety, firewood and propane gas are not stored at the property. If guests wish to use the outdoor fire pit or grill, they must provide their own propane and fire wood (available locally).

 

- Smoking / vaping is strictly prohibited in or around the home.

We enjoyed staying at this clean, stylish home. It is located between South Haven and Saugutuk, making it easy to explore the area. Phil gave us local recommendations that were relevant and accurate - we tried a few. The home is a few minute drive from a private beach. The beach is huge and clean. Inside, the furnishing is spotless and fresh. I’m happy it is pet friendly - beds, bowls, treats. It is well kept because there isn’t any evidence a pet had been there. We watched a movie each night and had an easy time with good WiFi and streaming services. The hot tub and fire pit are a great part of the appeal for this spot. It’s a better value for a group than a couple. Hot tubs are difficult to find though. I’d recommend it to a friend.

We had a great time here! I visited with a group of friends, and we really enjoyed the space and the neighborhood. The decor and vibes are excellent — just like the photos show. The hot tub was great, and the backyard is lovely. We also cooked some meals, and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for that. We spent lots of time on the enclosed back porch having coffee and drinks, which was wonderful. The neighborhood is really cute and quiet. We walked around and went down to the beach, which is not hard to find. The beach is gorgeous! The neighborhood is far enough from town to be peaceful but close enough to pop over for a cute little stroll through the restaurants and shops. Overall, a great spot for a group!

If I could give 10 stars I would! This is my first Airbnb experience and it surpassed all my expectations! The place was beautiful, pristine and just as described. I didn’t want to leave. Phil was super responsive from when I was booking months ago to after we left to head home. I felt so taken care of. The house was exactly what we needed for a family of 4 plus dog. This was huge for us that we can bring our dog! Comfortable amenities.Private beach 3 minutes drive away. We will be back!

We loved the location of this home—it’s in a walkable neighborhood close to the lake, which was perfect for our getaway. The backyard was a lovely space to relax, the home was beautifully decorated, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches like the fluffy blankets and dog-friendly accommodations. That said, there were several issues that impacted our stay. The water had a strong smell and came out yellow in the bath and shower, which never got truly hot. The towels provided were very scratchy and felt industrial, not what you’d expect for the price point. The hot tub had maintenance during the stay (something we weren’t informed about), and afterwards it was only 72 degrees and smelled strongly of chemicals—unusable, unfortunately for the rest of the time. This was the favorite part of the house so huge bummer since It wasn’t lake weather. Phil’s communication was great and responsive throughout, but it didn’t fully make up for the number of issues we encountered.

Wonderful stay, Phil was a great host! The house was very clean and comfortable; the design was fun and inviting. We had a minor issue with the hot tub on the first day, but Phil arranged for it to be taken care of and there were no other issues with our stay. We also appreciated the recommendations Phil gave us for restaurants. Lake Michigan was also a nice, short walk away. Overall, a lovely place to stay and relax, with a great host.

The Mid Mod was the perfect place for our girls weekend, with a mix of nature and lots of food/shopping nearby! The home was as pictured and had lots of lovely features like individual robes per guest. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need to make a homemade meal. We also loved the fire pit in the backyard, lots of things to do at the house. Phil was a great host, checking in with us frequently and also providing lots of resources. A few things that were difficult for us was finding the place, Apple Maps sent us the wrong way but Google and Waze sent us accurate directions. The water also had a slight unpleasant smell and did not heat up as much so showers were not as enjoyable. Overall, I would recommend the Mid Mod for families and larger groups as the home provides everything you’ll need and more.

Wow...what a cute place! My husband and I were looking for a quiet and peaceful place for some much needed R&R and this place was perfect. Phil (the host) provided so many thoughtful elements that made the place feel like home. For example, there were extra pillows, a record player with records, lots of cute nooks to explore and a keurig and coffee pot...which we loved. I appreciated the comfortable beds and couch. We also appreciated the high quality furniture and amenities. We had a little hiccup upon arrival and Phil responded within minutes and went above and beyond to solve the problem. It is very clear that Phil takes great pride in creating an exceptional getaway space for his guests. We will surely be back.
