We’re Phil & Casey, the dynamic team behind The Boutique Home Group. What began back in late 2017 as Boutique Homes of Galena—a small collection of cozy, character-filled retreats—has grown into a thoughtfully curated portfolio of unique vacation rentals across Illinois, Michigan, Arizona, and Texas. Whether you're seeking a quiet weekend escape or a luxurious getaway, each of our homes is designed to deliver comfort, style, and a touch of charm. Every detail is intentional, every space welcoming—because we believe your stay should feel nothing short of exceptional.

Are you pet friendly?

Yes! We love our furry friends and all of our homes are pet friendly for a small additional fee.

Do you offer vacation rental managment services?

Yes! We offer concierge style vacation rental managment solutions in Galena and select parts of Michigan. Ask us about our background and professional licenses!

What group sizes can you accommodate?

We offer homes for the single traveller all the way through to large groups of 14 people.

I don't see the perfect home for me. What should I do?

Reach out to us - we are adding new properties to our collection all the time!

Are early check-in's / late check out's available?

Yes, but subject to availability and a small additional hourly rate.

Are there any additional charges?

The price you see when booking is the price you'll pay including all taxes and fees. However, if you choose an 'add on' such as bringing a pet or pool heating, this will be a separate charge.

Are you qualified to manage my property for me?

Absolutely! Phil is a licensed real estate professional in IL & MI!

Sauberkeit & Ausstattung: Die Unterkunft war super sauber und hervorragend ausgestattet – in der Küche, den Schlafzimmern und dem Badezimmer hat es wirklich an nichts gefehlt. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und die Möbel waren modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Lage: Die Lage war perfekt für uns. Man kam schnell sowohl in die Stadt als auch auf die Autobahn, was unsere Ausflüge sehr erleichtert hat. Besonderes Highlight: Die Zimmer waren sogar passend zu Halloween dekoriert – liebevoll gestaltet, nicht zu viel und einfach genau richtig. Ich habe es geliebt! Gastgeber: Phil war einfach ein wunderbarer Gastgeber! Vom ersten Moment an war er unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und immer erreichbar, wenn wir Fragen hatten. Man merkt sofort, dass ihm das Wohl seiner Gäste wirklich am Herzen liegt. Wir haben uns bestens aufgehoben gefühlt und wären jederzeit gerne wieder seine Gäste. Fazit: Eine absolut wunderschöne Unterkunft – absolut empfehlenswert! 🤩

We absolutely loved our stay! The home had plenty of space for our group of 7 to spread out comfortably. The beds were cozy, the location was convenient to town, and the hot tub was such a great bonus. The private wooded backyard and quiet neighborhood made it a perfect, relaxing escape. Nothing!

We had a wonderful stay — everything was exactly as described in the listing. The kitchen was clean, well-equipped, and even the fridge was spotless. The bed was very comfortable, and there were TVs both in the front bedroom and the living room. The bathroom was also clean, though keep in mind there’s only one, which might be a consideration for groups larger than two. The cottage itself is cozy — a bit small, but perfect for us and our dog. The location was ideal: peaceful and quiet, yet only about a six-minute drive to town for restaurants and shopping. My only suggestion would be to add a light on the back side of the house (if there is one, we couldn’t find it), as it gets quite dark back there, and the surrounding homes weren’t occupied, making it feel a bit isolated at night. The landscaping looked freshly updated and added to the charm of the property.

Totally enjoyed our stay there. Having access to Lake Michigan via a fairly short walk was great. The home was very nice and very clean and Phil was also a proactive host. While we did not require any assistance it was nice knowing he would be available if needed. Would definitely stay again!
